Taiwan Sweet Potato Croissant||introduce
Every time I pass by Taiwan Sweet Potato, I see a lot of people lining up.
I originally thought they were just selling sweet potatoes and wasn’t really interested.
After lining up, I discovered that the impressive items at Taiwan Sweet Potato are the croissants, pineapple buns, and egg tarts.
Even Sky wanted to try them all after seeing them.
Prices range from 35 to 65 NTD.
Taiwan Sweet Potato” offers a buy-five-get-one-free deal, so I accidentally ended up buying six instead of the intended twelve.
However, because croissants lose their texture the next day, and those with fillings are not suitable for long-term storage, except for a few that can be reheated, it is recommended that everyone finish them on the same day.

Taiwan Sweet Potato Croissant||Matcha Chestnut Croissant
“The matcha chestnut croissant at Taiwan Sweet Potato is said to be a limited edition flavor, and if you come late, you won’t be able to buy it. Sky always makes sure to get one right after the shop opens. The croissant’s outer layer is very crispy, and the texture is slightly dense. The matcha sauce is rich and generously applied, making it ooze out with every bite. The chestnuts are unexpectedly large, and the light sugar glaze adds a nice touch!”
Taiwan Sweet Potato Croissant||Raw Chocolate Croissant
The raw chocolate croissant at Taiwan Sweet Potato has a very rich raw chocolate filling. However, it’s a pity that it gets squished and deformed when packed in the box. It doesn’t look as good when you take it home, but it doesn’t affect the taste. The older folks all say it’s delicious.
Taiwan Sweet Potato Croissant||Purple potato and taro pudding croissant
The purple sweet potato taro pudding croissant at Taiwan Sweet Potato, unfortunately, had its purple sweet potato taro paste flattened on top when taken home, and it was also refrigerated, which affected its texture. My wife’s review was just average.
Taiwan Sweet Potato Croissant||Mango Croissant
The mango croissant at Taiwan Sweet Potato had fresh and tasty mangoes, but Sky didn’t feel it was a perfect match, perhaps because I’m not fond of sour flavors! Haha!
Taiwan Sweet Potato Croissant||Creme Brulee Pineapple
The caramel pudding pineapple bun at Taiwan Sweet Potato is definitely the shop’s signature item. The caramel pudding on top is very eye-catching, and most importantly, it’s incredibly delicious with its smooth and delicate texture. The pineapple underneath is made more solid to support the pudding, but Sky prefers softer pineapple.
Summary: The croissant series at Taiwan Sweet Potato is definitely a must-try signature. You can find your favorite flavors there. It’s strongly recommended to eat them on-site or on the same day for the best taste. Highly recommended to everyone!
